Our Philosophy
Surprise! This is a car website! But most likely you knew that already. In my boredom, and seeing all those other car websites around the internet, I'd thought I'd try something different. In case you were wondering, Bureki is the phonetic translation of the word "brake" in Japanese. I think it's just a fun word to speak with a Japanese accent "Boooraykeee!!!!". Well then, if you were actually cool enough to look at this page first, let me describe the layout of this website. Mainly, I created this page to display the cars I admire of my friends/acquaintences. Although I have quite a few friends/acquaintences who have cars, I chose to profile these particular people for their individuality. If you were expecting to see some Feel's kit, shaved-door handled, white interiored hella tizzight rides here, you're gonna be disappointed. These cars aren't just show. Mods on these cars suit a purpose. You won't see crossed-drilled rotors with an air-suspension car here. Nor will you see painted drum brakes, or GT-R wings. You will not see custom MR-2 side vents, or 235 series tires in the rear of an FF car. You will not see any Skyline or Supra taillights of any kind. You will see IS300 lights, but ONLY on an IS300. There will be conversions seen, but such will be kept to the same car species, so no RX7 this mixed with Prelude that and such. The majority of cars on this site are not Honda, but that by no means implies that this is an Anti-Honda page. Believe it or not, there are those out there with Integra's and Civics who have common sense, and are able to make their cars look/perform awesome without falling into the extremely tasteless and impractical trends that are abundant in the import scene.
